Get help or report a problem.

Something broken, wrong or unclear on this site or in the MCP server? Tell me through the contact page. This is a one-person project, so there is no guaranteed response time, but reports are welcome.

What to include

For a problem with a page:

  • the page address;
  • what you expected, and what happened instead;
  • your browser and device, if it looks like a display problem.

For a problem with the MCP server:

  • your MCP client and its version;
  • the tool you called and the error text you got back;
  • roughly when it happened, with a time zone.

Do not include credentials, customer data or anything confidential. If you are reporting a security problem, say so in the first line and leave out working exploit details until I reply.

Corrections to the guides are welcome too. Please include a link to the source that shows the error.

The MCP endpoint

Endpoint: https://agentexperience.tech/api/mcp. It uses Streamable HTTP, is stateless, accepts POST only, and needs no authentication. Setup steps are on the connect page.

It offers one diagnostic tool, audit_agent_path, four reference tools (search_guides, get_guide, get_readiness_rubric and get_glossary_term) and one prompt, workflow_review.

There is no status page. To check that the server is answering, list its tools:

curl -s -X POST https://agentexperience.tech/api/mcp \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  -H 'accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'

A working server replies with the list of tools. Opening the endpoint in a browser returns status 405, because the protocol only accepts POST. That is expected.

Limits

  • A request body can be at most 64 KiB, and must arrive within three seconds.
  • A single call can run for at most 30 seconds.
  • The audit tool accepts a catalogue of at most 20 tools.
  • Each server instance runs at most two audits at once, and starts at most ten audits a minute.
  • Public URL audits are switched off. Catalogue audits work now.

These limits may change. Please do not loop requests. See the terms of use for fair use.

Common errors

  • "Audit capacity is temporarily full." Too many audits are running. Wait one minute, then try once more.
  • "Public URL audits are not enabled on this deployment yet." Remove the URL and send a sanitised catalogue instead.
  • Status 413. The request body is larger than 64 KiB. Send a smaller catalogue.
  • Status 408. The request body did not arrive in time. Retry once.
  • Status 405. The request was not a POST. Use an MCP client, or the command above.
